Members of Shindu Belore are entitled to certain rights, but also asked to hold a few simple responsibilities. These are outlined below. Please read them and keep them in mind during your membership.
This list may be added to as things progress.
Guild Member Rights:
- Members will never be required to give away personal information - this includes age. While it is not abnormal for members or officers to ask this information, you are not required to give out any more than you are comfortable with.
- Shindu Belore, its officers and guild members will never do anything to your character without first asking your permission. This includes but is not limited to killing off your character, involving them in major plots, or speaking for them. Permission is always required, even if the player is inactive or has left the guild. As outlined in the guild rules, players in violation of this right will be dealt with appropriately.
- Guild members have rights to fair and equal treatment. If you feel that you are being mistreated in any way, contact an officer and they will work out some solution.
- Guild Members have the right to have fun playing the game. While we do ask that each character participate at a base level with the guild, we understand that this is a game, and will not require it to turn into a job without knowledge of the player. Players will not be removed from the guild for low attendance at events of any sort.
Guild Member Responsibilities:
- Members are expected to abide by Blizzard Terms of Service as well as Guild Rules. It is a member's responsibility to read and abide by the rules of the guild.
- Guild members are expected to be respectful of other players. Period.
- Guild members are expected to keep up a minimum amount of active time - this does not require attendance at guild events, simply online time. Guild members on the roster inactive for more than a month will be removed (see Guild Rules)
- Guild Members are expected to keep their character profiles up-to-date. This includes alts.
- Alts are expected to be kept to a reasonable amount - if you cannot handle keeping all of your alts active, we ask that you do not have that many alts in the guild.
