In Character
Appearance: Starwynd is rather pretty average for a Blood Elf Could get lost in a crowd. He tends to dress well, enjoying the finer things in life, but can’t always afford them.
Personality: Loric Starwynd, outwardly, is jovial, amusing and very relaxed. He spends most of his time joking and enjoying the finer things in life whenever he can. Personally, he is manipulative, cunning, and vindictive, the only one who has 100% of his loyalty is himself. Although he follows the three “P’s” (Personal Gain, Personal Gratification, Personal Satisfaction) Starwynd focuses his efforts on what needs to be done to complete them. He is also not known for biting the hand that feeds. Loric also has a superiority complex when it comes to others and races. He knows everyone has there uses and places, but none are as important as he.
Character Flaws: Starwynd never takes things seriously. He has a very relaxed nature, and sometimes doesn’t know the when to keep his mouth shut. He also has a tendency to underestimate everyone and over estimate himself, becoming very agitated with constant failure in both himself, ad others.
Character Skills: Starwynd has a silver tongue and generally can talk his way into or out of everything. Due to his relaxed nature, people tend to trust him more. That and Arcane Missiles.
Individuals of Note (Family, Friends, Enemies): Loric is not related, known by or hates by anyone special.
Character Motivations: Sheer simple amusement drives Starwynd. Nothing is sacred and nothing untouchable. If it would entertain interest or make him laugh, it’s worth it.
Character History: Loric Starwynd is the 32 born of 52 children to Lord Loric Tyberious Larenzo Keal’vanus the 1st, a concierge in Silvermoon. Although never officially obtaining the title of Lord, he claimed it anyways no one bothering to correct him. Starwynd was raised by several different people threw his life, becoming only attached to one, Oldest sister Kal’tainus. Kal’tainus trained Loric into his first mages rob as a young age, and was the only male Mage among the family. When Starwynd was in his teens (Human equivalent) Kal’tainus succumbed to the Addiction, and was cast out then later hunted by other siblings.
Loric was devastated by this, and focused his efforts on becoming the best mage he could be, learning the ins and outs of arcane magic. Just before the war with the Scourge, Loric learned that his father had fallen very Ill, and was on his death bed. He left the mage academy to visit his father one last time, his father told him that older brother Bal’thano was the reason his for his sisters death. Loric, enraged a furious, demanded revenge, and developed the plan. With his fathers help, he wrote, and made official a document sending Bal’thano and his other older brothers into war with Kael'thas Sunstrider.
Although his brothers attempted to protest, it was done, and they couldn’t withdraw there “voluntary enlistment” into the war effort without losing face, and being shunned as cowards. They were never seen again.
Loric, now the eldest son, became head of the House when his father died. Now, having this power, he cares nothing for it finding it hard work with not enough gain, and has assigned his younger sister Marren to run things in his travels abroad.
